Hot on the heels of Amazon announcing the dates for Prime Day 2023, Target and Walmart have announced the dates for their respective events too.
Target Circle Week
In recent years, Target has run Target Deal Days as a competitor to Prime Day. They’re doing something similar in 2023, but it’s being renamed and so will likely work slightly differently to the past.
From July 9-15, 2023, they’ll be running Target Circle Week. These are deals that will only be available for Target Circle members. The good news is that unlike Amazon Prime, it’s free to join Target Circle year-round.
It’s unclear as of right now as to whether Target will run any gift card deals during Target Circle Week. Their announcement doesn’t mention any, but that press release only lists a limited number of offers.
Walmart Plus Week
Amazon calls their event ‘Prime Day’ despite it taking place over two days. Walmart is calling their event ‘Walmart Plus Week’ despite the fact that it’ll take place over the course of only four days from July 10-13.
Walmart Plus Week will be available to anyone and everyone, although some deals will be limited to Walmart Plus members. That’s a paid subscription service, but one that you can get for free if you have a personal Amex Platinum card.
It looks like they’ll be running at least one gift card deal as they’ve announced that they’ll be giving 30% off Spafinder gift cards. That’s a deal sometimes available at Costco, so hopefully they run some other – more lucrative – gift card deals during Walmart Plus Week.
