The Deal

• Earn 4% cashback when paying with a Dosh-linked card at Office Depot/OfficeMax.
• My Dosh referral link (I’ll earn $10 when you sign up, connect & verify your first card and make your first purchase with a Dosh merchant, but I’m not entirely sure what you’ll receive as a signup bonus. It used to be $5, then they reduced it to $1 a few months ago, but I’m not sure if it’s gone back up now or not.)

Tips & Ideas

With a limit of $100 cashback per day, you’ll max this out when spending $2,500 per day which is a very generous limit. However, be aware that Dosh takes a very dim view of buying gift cards to take advantage of the cashback they offer; they’ve closed many people’s accounts and stopped allowing other people to earn cashback at Office Depot/OfficeMax.

You might be able to get away with gift card purchases at higher or lower level though rather than spending $398.90 per transaction with this deal.

There are a couple of other ways to maximize this deal. For example, you could pay with a card with the 10% Chase Offer loaded to it. In an ideal world, that offer would be loaded to a Chase Ink Cash or Ink Plus card. That would mean you could buy an $80 gift card (to max out the Chase Offer if your offer has a limit of $8 cashback). You’d earn $8 from the Chase Offer, $3.20 from Dosh and 400 Ultimate Rewards. That’s 14% cashback plus 5x UR which is a nice return that might not attract the ire of Dosh.
