Tips & Ideas
For quite some time, access to Citi Offers itself seemed to be targeted. They now seem to have rolled them out so more – or possibly all – cardholders now have access to the program.
I was never lucky enough to have Citi Offers on my cards in the past, but about a week ago they finally appeared. This Wine.com Citi Offer is a good example of why this can be a useful program. You can buy a $100 Wine.com eGift card to get $30 back which should make this profitable for reselling.
In case you’re not familiar with how Wine.com eGift card orders work, you’ll get an email with the redemption code, then they’ll send a physical gift card with that same code in the mail.
If you have it on a Mastercard, it’ll also stack nicely with the card-linked Wine.com offer on SimplyMiles giving 1,400 bonus American Airlines AAdvantage miles when spending $100. That’ll earn you 1,400 Loyalty Points too which could be helpful if you’re trying to earn status with American Airlines.
Also be sure to click through from a shopping portal in case it tracks – here are the current rates.
I still don’t seem to have access to Citi Merchant Offers on my account. Maybe because I only have a business card?
I think that may well be the case. I have it on my personal cards, but my wife only has CitiBusiness cards and doesn’t have Citi Offers.
