Tips & Ideas
Any time that you can save on Amazon gift cards is a good time. While this isn’t truly saving on an Amazon gift card as such, if you’ll be able to redeem the $10 of promo credit within the next month or two before it expires, it’s as good as a straight discount. These promo credits have been redeemable when buying third party gift cards in the past, so I suspect that’ll be the case again.
I’m not 100% sure if this deal has actually started yet or not. When trying to apply the promo code to my account it says ‘The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase.’ However, on the landing page for today’s other gift card deals on my account it says ‘Unfortunately, you’re not eligible for Prime Early Access Amazon Gift Card Deals, but other great offers await.’ This offer might therefore only be available on accounts where you’ve never bought an Amazon gift card before given the fact that the promo code itself is NEWGC2022.
Update: Jay in the comments has shared the terms and conditions of this offer and it is indeed only eligible on Prime accounts where you’ve never bought an Amazon gift card before. Boo!
From the T&C:
Note: In order to qualify for the $10 promotional code, you must (1) be a Prime member (2) not have purchased an Amazon.com Gift Card in the preceding 12 months, and (3) purchase an Amazon.com Gift Card valued at $50 or more in a single order on Amazon.com beginning 12:00 am (PT) October 11, 2022 and ending 11:59 pm October 12, 2022 (PT) or when supplies have been exhausted, whichever occurs first.
Thanks – I couldn’t find the T&Cs before.
No go for me either.
