This is a pretty nice deal which will be break even or profitable for some resellers. If you have a Target RedCard, you can save an additional 5%. Another good option is the targeted Target Amex Offer which gives $5 back when spending $50 and can be used twice.
Also note that this offer is around for two weeks, so there’s plenty of time to take advantage of it, especially if you’ll be doing the deal in-store.
A couple of things to note with this deal. Target strictly enforces their annual deal offering a 10% discount on Target gift cards, so be careful if doing this offer more than once. Although this deal is for Apple gift cards rather than Target gift cards, Apple has been cracking down on Raise by not allowing them to accept most people for reselling Apple gift cards on the site, so it might be that they have Target enforce the limit of one per person more stringently. For in-store purchases, it might therefore be best to only use each credit card once to purchase these. With the 10% Target gift card deals in the past, Target has been able to track sales to the same person that way and drained the value from the Target gift cards.
A second thing to note with this deal is that you might not be able to resell the $10 Target gift card if you do this deal online and it’s the first Target gift card associated with your account. Some people (myself included) encountered that problem with an iTunes/Target gift card deal a few months ago, so check out this post to help ensure you don’t get caught out.
Apple gcs took a hit recently. But I guess its a good deal if you shop at Apple and target.
