Update 5/20/20: RebatesMe appears to have realized the error of their ways and removed $200 Visa gift cards as being listed as eligible for 5% cashback. It’d therefore be best to avoid this “deal”.
If you did take advantage of it earlier, it’d be worth trying to make a claim with RebatesMe – a screenshot of the promo is provided in the post below.

Tips & Ideas
I have my doubts as to whether this will track or not. The RebatesMe portal is listing $200 Visa gift cards as eligible for 5% cashback, but the terms for Staples on RebatesMe specifically state that gift card purchases are excluded.
$200 Visa gift cards have a $6.95 activation fee. If this does work, you’ll earn either $10.35 or $10 cashback depending on if it tracks with the activation fee included or not. That would make this deal instantly profitable and can be made even better by paying with a Chase Ink Cash or Ink Plus card for 5%/5x. Alternatively, pay with a card with the Staples Amex Offer loaded to it if you’ve not maxed that out already.
Just be prepared for this not to track. I’d guess that you wouldn’t have any success raising a claim with RebatesMe considering they do have an exclusion listed for gift cards, but here’s a screenshot of the offer which would hopefully help you with any claim.
