Tips & Ideas
I’m not sure if the October 31 expiry date relates to the increased rate of 2%/2x versus the normal 1%/1x, or if that’s when the in-store card-linked offer for GameStop will be ending completely.
This should stack nicely with the 70x (i.e. 7%) offer available when having the same payment card linked in the Drop app.
Gift card purchases are excluded, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll be enforced.

Am I correct in my recollection that, unlike Rakuten, Drop requires you to link cards through your login credentials, which makes it impossible to link things like Happy cards? I don’t have Drop, so not sure how it works.
Yes, I think you have to log in for Drop.
Rate is back to 2x/2% today. Made a $100 purchase and got $2 cashback.
DP: Linked a bunch of Happy Treats cards and activated offer. Then bought several third-party gift cards at several different GameStop locations over the course of one day. None of the in-store transactions tracked. I am a sad panda …
I’ve done the same thing. Mine have ALL tracked…however there is maybe a 24 hour delay. I just did a run about 2 months ago…no tracking issues.
Update: just received an e-mail from Rakuten that my Gamestop in-store purchases finally tracked, 32 days (!!) after the transactions. Not complaining, but wow.
Does Drop have different rates for different users. I only show 40x on GS and no Quill. Thanks
I guess they must have different rates as I’m still seeing 70x (7%) for both.
For future reference: Drop tracked for me (9%) w/in 2 days both times, the Citi offer w/in about a week both times, and Rakuten never. I bought a small clearance item both times with the GC
