Raise has announced a couple of new features today that improve the experience for customers who buy gift cards on the platform.
Update Balances
The first feature is the ability to update card balances. This has to be done manually, but it’s helpful for all those times when you don’t redeem an entire gift card balance during one purchase. Raise will also keep track of the date that you last updated the gift card balance.
Mark Cards As Used
The other feature enables you to mark a gift card as used. If you mark it as used inadvertently, this can be reversed by updating the balance.
These are fairly small changes, but I know it’ll be helpful for me (and presumably other Raise customers) as I’ve bought a few cards that still have partial balances.
