For the last I-don’t-know-how-long, Ibotta has sold gift cards in their app. These are first-hand gift cards and you can specify any amount for your purchase (e.g. $93.17) which is useful when shopping both in-store and online as it means you don’t end up with a gift card with the digital equivalent of loose change left on it.
That feature was always called Pay With Ibotta and there was a button on the home screen when opening the app to access Pay With Ibotta. (n.b. For some reason, not all accounts had/have access to Pay With Ibotta, but I’m not sure of the reason why).
Ibotta has now updated the app and changed the name of the gift card-selling feature from ‘Pay With Ibotta’ to simply ‘Gift Cards. Rather than there being a button in the bottom-right corner to access this feature, scroll down the home page to the ‘Shop By Category’ section and you should see the ‘Gift Cards’ option there.
