There are some pretty good cashback rates for these brands, although there won’t be too much of interest for resellers.

To find these gift card deals in the Ibotta app, on the home screen scroll down to the ‘Shop By Category’ section and there should be an entry there for ‘Gift cards (formerly Pay with Ibotta)’. This feature seems to be targeted, so if you don’t see that option in the app, it means you won’t be able to take advantage of these offers. Having said that, it could be worth closing the app and opening it again because that option disappeared for my wife a few weeks ago but then showed back up later that day.

Ibotta doesn’t let you pay for these gift cards with a credit card – it’s debit card only. That limits how rewarding the purchase can be because PayPal Key (soon to be ending) and Nearside (2.2% cashback in 2022) aren’t accepted despite effectively being debit cards, while the Point debit card doesn’t offer points on Ibotta gift card purchases.

It might be possible to use some kind of crypto debit cards, but I don’t have any of those. The only thing I’ve had success with is the PayPal Business Debit Mastercard which offers 1% cashback.
