Tips & Ideas
These Hyatt Chase Offers come along every so often and can be a great way to save on your stay. With a limit of $25 back, you’ll max this out when spending $250. There have been Hyatt Chase Offers in the past giving 15% back rather than 10%, so I wouldn’t be surprised if that version of the offer is floating around right now too.
If you have a Hyatt hotel that sells gift cards, you should be able to trigger the statement credit by buying a gift card from the front desk. Make sure you’ll be getting a physical Hyatt gift card though – payments for their eGift cards are processed by Buyatab, so eGift cards won’t trigger the statement credit.

I have 15% back up to $38 back on the old Hyatt card.
Thanks – I’ve updated the post.
Do you know by any chance which Hyatt hotels (maybe brands) sell gift cards? I had called all around DC and none of them sold any.
I’ve bought them at Hyatt Places and a Hyatt Regency in the past.
What are the locations of these Hyatt Places and Regencies? I believe they stopped selling gift cards.
I think it can vary depending on the property. I think I bought gift cards in the past at the Hyatt Regency Cleveland and a couple of Hyatt Places, although that was a few years ago as I usually use these offers on paid stays.
Should stack with the Hyatt WoH card 8x offer also right?
If that’s the card that you got this Chase Offer on then it will.
The number of participating locations to redeem gift cards has been cut drastically according to their website. Generally all of North and South America was available to redeem at but only 71 locations in the US and 2 in Canada. Do you know if this is a glitch on the website or did they cut hundreds of locations from utilizing gift cards at?

That links seems to be for Hyatt weekend certificates rather than gift cards; I’m not even sure if those are a thing anymore – that page might just be a historical page that was never taken down.
Hi Stephen, can you buy Hyatt gift cards in the grocery store? I feel like I’ve seen them there in the past, but not sure which chain? Thank you in advance for your help!
I’ve never seen them for sale at the grocery store, but perhaps there are some regional chains that carry them.
