Harris Teeter has announced that as a result of customers driving less due to COVID-19, they’re extending the validity of fuel points earned in March 2020.
If you have any fuel points left over that were earned last month, on May 2 they’ll extend their expiry date until May 31. This is a nice touch because there are likely customers with quite a few points expiring seeing as Harris Teeter ran a 4x fuel points promotion for a two week period in March.
It’ll be interesting to see if Kroger follows suit. Although Harris Teeter is one of Kroger’s affiliate stores like Ralphs, King Soopers, Fry’s, Smith’s, etc., Harris Teeter is a bit of an anomaly in that I think their fuel point program runs separately to Kroger’s (although I did notice just now that my Kroger fuel point balance is viewable on Harris Teeter’s website). If Kroger announces a similar policy, I’ll let you know.
