Tips & Ideas
This is a great offer for a couple of reasons. For starters, it’ll be profitable for reselling when you convert the Happy gift card you buy to a third party gift card.
Secondly, there are a number of Happy gift card brands now which are ‘Swap’ cards (here’s how that works). That means some of the brands sold at HappyCards.com will be emailed to you, rather than you having to wait for physical gift cards which makes the process much faster.
Note that the HappyCards website lists Giving Good gift cards, the Habitat For Humanity one of which can be redeemed for Home Depot gift cards. However, you can’t buy Giving Good gift cards on the HappyCards.com website – it directs you to GiftCardMall. You therefore have to buy an actual Happy gift card rather than one of the Happy-esque brands.
I used this offer. Charge came up on my Amex vendor as “BHN Giftcard mall” and happycards refuses to credit me the $15. I have NO control over the name the vendor uses to process charge. I used the link (happycards.com) in the AmEx offer to buy the card. Do I smell some sort of scam going on here?
Did you buy a Giving Good, Choice or Thanks Teacher card rather than an actual Happy gift card? If so, the HappyCards site redirects you to GiftCardMall for those cards which is why the purchase would’ve shown up as BHN GiftCardMall.
If you did buy a Happy gift card though, I’ve no idea why that happened.
