Tips & Ideas
The free money from Giftcards.com continues! They’ve been running the same type of deal this past week or two with a bunch of Memorial Day-related promo codes, with this DONUTDAY promo code being yet another way to save 5% on up to $1,500 of purchases.
Click through from a shopping portal to earn bonus cashback/miles/points – here are the current rates. There’s also a Giftcards.com Citi Offer giving 1.5% cashback that’ll stack with both the DONUTDAY promo code and shopping portal cashback, although there have been numerous reports of people not getting the statement credit from that offer yet.
No matter the credit card I try, I get an error message saying some of the credit card info I’m entering is incorrect. It is correct and they are cards I’ve used before. Must be a temporary glitch on their site?
That’s occasionally happened for me in the past – I’m not sure how to fix it. Even when I can submit orders though, they just auto-cancel them.
Having the same issue, unfortunately.
I went through the AA portal which has 3x miles per $1 spent on giftcards.com. The orders show as tracked with the correct dollar amount. But still don’t see any miles pending or crediting after several days. Any thoughts?
From the portal website:
After I make a purchase from an AAdvantage eShopping℠ retailer, when will the AAdvantage® miles be credited to my account?
The miles will typically be posted to your account in 3-5 days; however, there are times when it may take up to 15 days. Some exceptions do apply. See participating retailer offer information on the AAdvantage eShopping℠ mall for complete information.
Thanks! But in the past for some of my Sam’s Club purchases it tracked but in the end no miles were credited. But these were GC purchases. May be they were not eligible? Was hoping something similar would not happen with these purchases.
How are people liquidating these? At 10%, like past sales, I could pay state taxes with them and basically negate the credit card fee and even still profit a little. At 5% every liquidation idea I have is a loss.
SUMMERFUN now offers 10% off but with a limit of $10. The 5% offer is better given the higher limit. Hopefully they extend it and fix the limits like they did other codes so far
New deal, SUMMERFUN 10% off up to $10 max.
