Update 12/23/22: There’s now a fourth eligible promo code – VISAXMAS. h/t INF
Update 12/22/22: This Visa gift card deal is still running and they’ve added a third promo code – XMASVISA (h/t Jay). There’s a limit of one per order, but it’s possible to get more than one order through.
Update 12/16/22: Giftcards.com is stating that they sold out on this deal, but that they’ve added more capacity, albeit with a lower limit of one $10 discount per customer. Whether that’s actually enforced is another matter.
Update 2: Promo code VISAHOLIDAY is also working. h/t Juggernaut
Update 12/15/22: This offer isn’t working quite as described. It’s currently taking a maximum of $20 off, but it works to take $20 off a $200 gift card – you don’t have to buy $100 denominations. That’s beneficial because it means that not only do you not have to faff around with smaller denominations, but it reduces your net fees as you get $20 off a $5.95 purchase fee on a $200 card.

Tips & Ideas
Giftcards.com has been killing it with profitable deals on Visa gift cards in recent months and those deals continue with this latest one. There’s a good chance that we’ll end up with half a dozen valid promo codes over the course of the next couple of weeks, so I’ll republish this post whenever a new one appears.
There’s a Giftcards.com Citi Offer giving 1.5% back as a statement credit, although that doesn’t seem to work on Visa gift cards unfortunately. Click through from a shopping portal to earn cashback/rewards – here are the current rates.
Does Amex Blue Cash consider giftcards.com “online” for 3%?
It’s 50/50. Sometimes it does for me sometimes doesn’t. Very weird.
Thanks for answering on both sites! 😊
In your update, you write “but it reduces your net fees as you get $10 off a $5.95 purchase fee on a $200 card.” Do you mean $20 off?
Oops, yep – that’s a typo. Thanks – I’ll get that fixed.
Is there a promo code or anything to get the discount? I added a $200 card and made it all the way to the checkout page, but it’s not showing the $20 discount anywhere.
VISAHOLIDAY works too
Got it, thanks, Don’t know how I missed it posted above.
Thanks!
Would a second transaction using a 2nd code work?
why don’t you try it and see?
It should work. I used different cards/CB portals just in case, but was able to order 3x $200 cards in 3 separate transactions using 2 different codes (and two emails). All three processed and delivered.
I appreciate this post. Good way to pay rent at a discount and earn points/miles.
I just bought this on the mobile site and was pleased to see an Apple Pay option. Good way to max out my Discover Q4 bonus for mobile wallet payments.
visaholiday only taking $10 off $200. holidayvisa not working.
i subscribe to giftcards.com’s email spam list and they just sent out an email stating that they ran out of cards, and only taking $10 off $100, limit 1x per person due to selling out, basically
I can confirm that “HolidayVisa” is working again but giving a max discount of $10 even on a $200 card.
Saw a banner with a new code – XMASVISA, appears to work same as others
Awesome, thanks – I’ve added that to the post.
Can you use the G-Money rewards discount and the promo code discount on the same order? I was able to apply both but didn’t finish the transaction. The subtotal discounted both Gmoney rewards and Promo discount but I vaguely remember something like promos can’t be combined. Would this work or no?
Ok tried and it seems like it worked.
code
Visaxmas
also works
Thanks! I’ll get that added to the post.
Do they work on cashback portals yet?
