Tips & Ideas
I just want to say upfront that I’m not 100% sure that these deals will stack as it’ll depend on how Dosh tracks the transaction.
The $25 Inner Circle membership is straightforward enough, so you’ll definitely get that $30 discount (an Inner Circle membership normally costs $55). The way to (possibly) get your net cost down to $5 is because Dosh is also offering $20 cashback when paying for an Inner Circle membership with a card you’ve linked in the Dosh app.
The reason I’m unsure whether or not this’ll track is because I don’t know if the $20 cashback from Dosh is triggered when buying a membership that costs $55 (similar to how an Amex Offer would work), or if it’s simply the process of purchasing the membership that triggers it. If it’s the latter, you’ll get the $20 cashback to drop your cost to $5.
If that works, it’s a fantastic deal. It might not work though, so you might have to be satisfied with a $25 membership which still isn’t a bad deal if you can make use of the in-store access. If all you need is an online membership (e.g. for their gift card deals), that only costs $10.
Update: The Perks Rewards membership option is potentially a fantastic deal too. That usually costs $110 and offers 2% cashback on most purchases in-club (it looks like gift card purchases are excluded unfortunately). On the BJ’s membership landing page, you can check a box to switch from the Inner Circle membership to Perks Rewards which adds $40 for a total of $65. Dosh is offering $40 cashback for a Perks Rewards membership, so if it tracks your net cost will be $25 rather than $110 for a regular membership.
