Update 8/21/20: I stopped at a Panera Bread today and bought a gift card. After scanning it in the Fetch app, I received a total of 2,700 points. There was the 2,500 points from this offer, along with 200 points as an offer for scanning my next receipt. That’s worth $2.70 which isn’t bad for a $10 Panera gift card.
The Deal
- Scan a receipt for $10+ from Panera Bread & get 2,500 points (worth $2.50)from Fetch Rewards.
- Referral link for Fetch Rewards. (Both of us will get 2,000 points which are worth $2. If it prompts you for a referral code, mine is D2CA8.)
Key Terms
- Valid on receipts dated August 19, 2020 through October 31, 2020.
- Eligible receipts must be scanned and uploaded to your Fetch Rewards account during the promotion period to be eligible for Fetch Rewards Points.
- Limit 1 offer submission per Fetch Rewards Member.
Tips & Ideas
There’s no gift card exclusion for this offer, so it should be possible to buy a $10 Panera Bread gift card in-restaurant and scan that receipt to get the 2,500 points. That effectively means you’re saving 25% which is a decent return for Panera Bread.
A couple of things to note with this offer. I’m fairly new to Fetch Rewards, but it says you can earn points on all restaurant receipts. If that’s the case, you might earn points on top of the 2,500 bonus points.
A second thing to be aware of is that Panera Bread is currently offering a 20% instant discount when buying their gift cards online. I’m not sure if that’s also being run in-restaurant; if it is, you’d need to buy a gift card worth at least $12.50 in order to have a net cost of at least $10 which is needed for the Fetch Rewards promotion. Update: As per Liz’s comment below, the 20% discount promotion isn’t being run in-restaurant.
Looks like the 20% discount isn’t being run in restaurant.
That’s good to know – thank you!
The 20% discount is being run in restaurant in Shelby MI. Signs are posted at the registers.
It’s interesting that they’re offering that in-store at your location – I just checked the terms online and it says it’s only valid online and not in-store so it’s great that you could stack the two deals 🙂
