Update 6/13/20: Dosh has increased the cashback for new memberships to $20, while it looks like the 3% cashback has been removed (not a huge loss considering the $10 annual limit).
You might still be able to stack Costco membership deals for a profitable membership – see this post for how to do that. I’m not certain you can do that though because the membership offers in the MPX app and Uber Visa Rewards are no longer showing for me; I’ve no idea if they’ve expired of if it’s because I’ve redeemed those offers already.
The Deal
- Dosh is offering the following cashback at Costco when paying with a card linked in the Dosh app:

- My Dosh referral link (I’ll earn $5 when you sign up and connect and verify your first card, but I’m not entirely sure what you’ll receive as a signup bonus. It used to be $5, then they reduced it to $1 a couple of months ago, but I’m not sure if it’s gone back up now or not.

Tips & Ideas
These are some good deals if you’re in the market for a new Costco membership or even if you already have one seeing as you’ll also earn cashback on in-store and online purchases.
The fact that there are separate terms for the 3% cashback elements suggests that you might be able to earn $20 cashback on purchases per year – $10 for in-store and $10 for online. I’m by no means certain about that though, so I’d take any additional $10 earnings beyond the first $10 as a bonus.
Discover It cards are earning 5% cashback on wholesale clubs during the current quarter, so that’s a good payment option. You can only use Discover cards online, but you can buy a Costco gift card online with a Discover card to use for in-store purchases. That won’t trigger the 3% in-store cashback though, so you’ll want to pay with a different Dosh-linked card there.
This Dosh offer will hopefully stack with the 12x MPX offer and/or the Uber Visa Offers deal on Costco memberships, although the former requires that you pay with a Chase United card while the latter requires that you pay with a Visa card, so it won’t stack with 5% cashback from Discover. It might also stack with this Costco membership offer that’s giving a $10 Costco gift card, although it depends on if that purchase shows up as being processed by Costco.com.
You can also earn cashback on new Costco memberships when clicking through from a shopping portal which will also stack with these offers.
3 instore Costco locations are limited to Texas, fyi.
I think it depends on where you’re based – I’m in Pueblo, CO at the moment and it’s listing a couple of stores in Colorado Springs.

Do you think membership renewal will be tracked?
It’s unlikely seeing as it’s specifically exclude, but it’s certainly worth linking whatever card you’d be paying for your renewal with just in case it does track.
Alternatively, do you have a partner who doesn’t have their own membership? If so, you could not renew your existing membership and set up a new one for your partner to get the cashback.
