Update 7/12/21: Bitmo has finally updated their app to display additional card-linked retailers, so I’ve updated the list below to include any missing ones. However, the list of retailers in the app still doesn’t seem to be comprehensive as it’s missing stores like ABC Spirits, Drizly and more.
Bitmo is an app that sells gift cards and offers Perk Points on each purchase which can be redeemed for future gift card purchases in the app.
They also have a card-linked element to the Perk Points program which offers 1x Perk Point per dollar spent with a linked card at all the retailers for which you can buy gift cards in the app. 1x Perk Point is worth 0.1% back which isn’t a huge amount, but it’s 0.1% that you can earn on every card-linked transaction without any effort beyond simply linking your card(s) in the first place.
In addition to earning points on purchases at retailers for which you can buy gift cards in the app, there are lots of other eligible retailers where you can earn points for card-linked transactions even though Bitmo doesn’t sell their gift cards in the app. Bitmo emails users whenever they add these additional eligible retailers, but there’s no list of those retailers in the app which can make it hard to keep track of them.
A couple of readers have asked if there’s a list of these additional retailers, so I figured I’d put together a list of them here. Whenever new retailers are added I’ll add them to this list and republish the post. If there are any retailers missing from the list below, please let me know and I’ll get them added.

Not sure why HEB was added today, it’s been eligible for a while now. Staples, CVS, ARCO gas station are some other places that you can get cb
Thanks for that. Staples and CVS are brands they sell gift cards for in the app, but ARCO isn’t so I’ll get that added to the list.
From your experience, do you only get points on one card per issuer? They ask for your primary card. In since cases, like Amex, I might use one card primarily for groceries but another card for other purchases, so it’s tricky deciding which card with Bitmo to set as the primary.
That used to be the case, but now you can add more than one per issuer. You can only select one primary card, but it then adds other cards from that login.
Thanks for sharing. From my app, I have earned Perks points from the following for online and in-store purchases, including gift cards:
Best Buy
Panera Bread
CVS
Rite Aid
Thanks! CVS and Panera Bread are sold by them in the app, but Best Buy and Rite Aid aren’t and so I’ll get them added to the list.
@Stephen Pepper, to clarify, I was referring to in-store CVS and Panera purchases of gift cards. They tracked in my Bitmo app.
Yep – any retailer for which Bitmo sells gift cards you can always earn points for when paying with a linked card. There are other retailers though (Safeway, Kroger, etc.) who Bitmo doesn’t sell gift cards for but who they offer points for card-linked transactions anyway – that’s the list I’m trying to put together on this post.
Chick-fil-A
Thanks
BJS.COM
Thank you
You can add McDonald’s too
Thanks – I’ll add that.
Wegmans counts also! Been getting GCs to use up the supermarket 5xon Citi Dividend and I earn points on Bitmo from it
Thank you!
Walgreens
Thanks – I’ll get that added.
Crate and Barrel
Thanks! Added it to the list.
Add Hy-Vee to that list
also Steam, how could I forget
Thanks – I’ve added both of these to the list.
Does Bitmo compete with other card-linked programs? I just skimmed your guide (Bitmo User Guide – How To Use The Bitmo App To Buy Discounted Gift Cards – GC Galore) but didn’t see anything about competing programs. I ask because I found out the hard way that Bumped and Pei are seemingly mutually exclusive.
I’d reached out to Bitmo several months ago to find out if they use a network like RCLON (which other sites like Rakuten, Google Pay, SimplyMiles & more use) for tracking the card-linked transactions and they just said they use Plaid.
As for Bumped and Pei, I hadn’t realized they used the same network. Did one or the other state that they use the same network then? If so, do you know which one it is?
No, they did not state that they use the same network, I just realized that Bumped was not crediting while Pei was for some purchases. When I contacted Bumped, they told me that I needed to re-add my cards (though they still were showing in my Bumped app). After re-adding them, all was working in Bumped but the purchases were now not showing up in Pei.
Interesting – I’d never paid close enough attention as to where my loyalty choices in Bumped overlapped with Pei retailers.
Belk gift card purchases earned points as Belk even though it’s processed by CashStar
Interesting – I’ve seen a few reports of CashStar purchases triggering other types of offers recently.
Columbia Sportswear
Thanks – I’ve added that.
Samsung Pay gift card purchase tracked as Samsung
Thanks!
