Tips & Ideas
Although the spending amount is fairly low, that makes it easy to max this out, especially seeing as 10% or 10x points/miles is an excellent return.
Spending $250+ with retailers selling gift cards online like GiftCardMall, GiftCards.com, Amazon, MyGiftCardsPlus, Raise, etc., should all trigger the bonus. That means you could buy third party gift cards or Visa and Mastercard gift cards to earn the $25 statement credit / 2,500 points or miles.
I received this offer on my Citi Dividend card, but others are seeing it on cards earning American Airlines AAdvantage miles and Citi ThankYou points. The email I received had the subject line “Stephen, Use Your Citi Card to Earn a Bonus Statement Credit on Eligible Online Purchases: It’s So Simple to Activate.”, but they might be using different subject lines.
