So I recently purchased a $200 vanilla gift card on BJ’s online, and it was not* credited as wholesale club. It was credited as Merchant Category – DISCOUNT STORES. Is it because I made this purchase through Paypal?! I did that because I purchased it through a cashback site, and I’ve seen purchases track better when I use Paypal. :'(
I basically spent $4 extra (I also bought a $50 gift card too, but it still shows as *pending) – to purchase giftcards for myself! Major bummer..
