While covering the latest Chase Ultimate Rewards offer for 10% off select gift cards, I noticed that one of the brands eligible for the 10% discount was Happy Rewards.
This is a new brand which isn’t even listed on GiftCards.com yet. Participating retailers are as follows:
- Regal Cinemas
- Sephora
- American Eagle
- Barnes & Noble
- Dave & Buster’s
- Under Armour
It’s not a particularly exciting brand for resellers as I don’t believe any of these retailers have a gift card rack stocking third party gift cards.
What is slightly interesting though is the message to cashiers asking them to ‘Enter as credit – not gift’. If they add this to all Happy brands, it might help convince cashiers at stores like Lowe’s, Home Depot and Bed Bath & Beyond that it’s fine buying third party gift cards with them seeing as it’s processed as credit rather than as a gift card. That’s likely wishful thinking, but you never know.
