Bad news for those of you with an Amazon Business American Express credit card. Starting from October 1, 2020, Amex will be limiting your 5% cashback earnings to the first $120,000 of spend on Amazon each year.
Due to some recent gift card reselling opportunities, this card will have been seeing a lot of action for some cardholders. While a limit of $120,000 won’t have any discernible impact for some cardholders, for others this could put a serious dent in their reselling activities.
At this point in time, the Amazon credit cards issued by Chase and Synchrony aren’t affected, but that’s not to say they won’t be changing in the future.
