Note that although you have until September 20, 2020 to use this offer, you have to enroll your card by July 26, 2020. It seems like this might be targeted as I’m only seeing it on my Schwab Platinum card right now. This offer only appeared in the last half hour though, so I’m going to hold off on loading it to that card in the hope that it’s rolled out to some of my other cards later today. Many of the eligible small businesses will likely be restaurants, so I’d much rather add it to my Amex Gold card to also earn 4x on dining spend.

Update: This offer isn’t showing up on my wife’s Amex Gold card either, but is on her EveryDay and Hilton Surpass cards. It’s therefore not limited to Platinum cards which is good to see.

Update 2: This is now appearing within the Amex Offers section and is showing up on all my cards.

Depending on which businesses are eligible near you, it might be possible to buy $10 gift cards from them, thereby getting a 50% discount. The downside of that approach is that it’ll likely cost them more in swipe fees.
