There are several ways you can follow GC Galore to ensure you get timely updates on every new gift card deal out there; that includes email, RSS and Facebook. There’s now an additional method – Threads.
I’d been wanting to share GC Galore posts on Threads for the past year or so, but they didn’t have an API which meant that it wasn’t possible to auto-post deals there and manually sharing posts wasn’t realistic. They’ve now made their API available which means that every GC Galore post will now show up if you follow the site on Threads.
In case you’re not very familiar with Threads functionality, there are two feeds you’ll see in the app – For You and Following. By default it’ll display the ‘For You’ feed which is a feed in a random order displaying posts both from accounts you follow and those you don’t. To only see posts by accounts you follow, tap the Threads logo at the top of the app; that should then reveal an option to click over to your ‘Following’ feed which displays posts only by accounts you follow that’ll appear in reverse chronological order. Seeing as the ‘For You’ setting is algorithm-based, there’s no guarantee that you’ll see every GC Galore post there, so you’d need to be checking the ‘Following’ feed to see all recent posts.
Lol no one is on threads. Shame you are too deranged for X.
Two years after it launched, Twitter had ~1 million users. Less than one year after it launched, Threads has ~200 million users. But sure, no one is on Threads.
They leveraged instagram for the initial growth, users realized it sucked, and now X has 25x more daily active users…
According to this report, Threads has more daily active users than Twitter in the US https://www.socialmediatoday.com/news/new-data-suggests-threads-x/714070/
Now, there’s no guarantee the figures are entirely accurate, but Twitter definitely doesn’t have 25x more daily active users. Daily active bots maybe.
