I didn’t realize Winc sold gift cards until seeing it as one of the brands on the latest set of Ibotta deals. It looks like they process payment for Winc eGift cards themselves when buying them directly, so that should trigger the statement credits from this Amex Offer.
One thing to be aware of though is that the minimum load for their gift cards is $50, so you’d only be saving 30% rather than 50%. That’s still a pretty good deal though.
You can make it even better by clicking through from a shopping portal. It seems like some shopping portals only offer rewards when subscribing to their wine club, but some portals (e.g. TopCashback) explicitly state that you’ll earn cashback when buying gift cards. You can find the current portal rates here and here. There might also be a card-linked opportunity with these Collinson-run portals that’ll stack with regular portal earnings and the Amex Offer.
There’s a SimplyMiles offer giving 1,000 AAdvantage miles and Loyalty Points when spending $30+, but that won’t stack with the Amex Offer because SimplyMiles only works with Mastercards.
