White House Black Market eGift card purchases are processed by CashStar, so those won’t trigger this statement credit. Buying a $100 physical gift card should work as it looks like they process those payments themselves – that certainly worked with a past White House Black Market Amex Offer anyway.
We only had this offer on our business cards, so be sure to check those if this doesn’t appear on your personal cards. If you have a business card that earns Membership Rewards, there might be a version offering 2,500 Membership Rewards which is an even better deal.
I doubt gift card purchases will track, but click through from a shopping portal anyway just in case. Here are the current rates – at the time of writing, Rakuten is offering 8x which looks like it’s a decent rate compared to other portals and historical rates.
