The grocery store part of this deal is great if you’re targeted seeing as you could max this out when buying a $500 Visa gift card.. The 4,000 bonus points or $40 cash back is therefore a great return which more than offsets the $5.95 activation fee.
The wholesale club version of the second part of the offer will be better for most people versus the restaurant version seeing as BJ’s, Costco, Sam’s Club, etc. also sell gift cards.
Note that with these deals you’ll only earn 10x/10% on your first purchase rather than cumulative purchases.
