If you spend $100 on gift cards, you’ll earn 400 Reward Points. Those can be redeemed for 40c off per gallon on up to 20 gallons of gas. That means you can save up to $8 on gas, so effectively an 8% discount if you can max out those fuel savings.
While that’s not huge, it’s a great discount considering this offer is valid on all third party gift cards, including high value cards like Best Buy and Amazon. That’ll make this of great interest for some resellers, even if you can’t get full value out of the fuel savings.
Weis Markets also offers an option to redeem points for grocery savings. For example, you can redeem 300 points for a coupon giving $5 off when spending $25 on groceries. While that’s not as good as gas redemptions, it’s nice to have that alternative.
I’ve actually gotten really lucky with this offer. We’re just about to spend a couple of weeks in an area with a few Weis Markets stores, so I can take advantage of this offer. We’re about to start working on a couple of minimum spends on new credit cards, so this will go nicely with that.
