On the face of it, a 1% bonus isn’t particularly special. However, the bonus categories on the US Bank Cash+ card could make this offer a little more worthwhile. Here are the categories you can choose from each quarter:
If you choose grocery stores as your 2% category, you’ll earn a total of 3% cashback with this offer on the first $1,000 of spend. If you eat a lot of fast food, you could then select fast food as one of your 5% categories in order to earn a total of 6% cashback on the first $1,000 of spend.
