Key Terms
- To be eligible for this bonus offer, you must be a United Chase Visa Cardmember during the promotion period April 22, 2020 to May 31, 2020.

- To complete an offer, you must first view the offer in the MileagePlus X app and then make a purchase with your linked credit card per the terms of the offer. Offers can be viewed in the MileagePlus X app after enrollment.
- Purchases posted to your account with a transaction date between April 22, 2020 and May 31, 2020 are eligible for this offer.
- Please allow 6–8 weeks after the United Visa Rewards holiday promotion ends on May 31, 2020 for bonus miles to post to your MileagePlus account.
- Bonus Miles will post directly to your MileagePlus account and will not appear on your credit card statement.

Tips & Ideas
Some of these offers can be interesting from a gift card perspective. One of the offers is giving 12x miles when buying a Costco membership, so buying a $60 membership will earn you 920 miles – 720 from the 12x and 200 bonus miles from this additional promotion. Although this offer is only valid on a membership rather than regular Costco spend (such as gift cards), it’s a nice reward if you’d be buying a membership anyway.
Chili’s is an option for 5x miles per dollar. Online gift card purchases won’t work as the payments aren’t processed by Chili’s, but buying a gift card in-restaurant should trigger the bonus if it’s safe(r) to do that before this promotion ends on May 31.
Sephora is another option right now, but note that this offer is stating that it’s due to expire today. With that one, you should be able to buy physical gift cards online to earn 4x per dollar in addition to the bonus miles from this promotion.
Note that this offer is targeted and you have to have a Chase United credit card and you have to pay with that card. The bonus miles from this offer are also cumulative. For example, if you complete three offers, you don’t only earn 500 miles – you earn at the 200 and 300 thresholds too, for a total of 1,000 bonus miles.
