Tips & Ideas
A 20% cashback rate on Raise purchases is the highest that I’ve ever seen, certainly the highest rate in the last 15 months.
This can be best maximized by buying gift cards that usually attract smaller discounts such as Walmart and Disney. Unfortunately there aren’t any Amazon gift cards listed at the moment, otherwise those would be another good option.
Note that Raise has a promotion at the moment offering 5% off when buying select gift cards and using promo code EXPERIENCE. That code probably won’t stack with the 20% cashback, so it’d be best not to risk the 20% not tracking.
Also be aware that you’re limited to earning cashback on $5,000 of lifetime purchases on Raise.

how do you tell which ones aren’t “listings?”
It’s the second-hand cards that are listed as having a discount that’ll earn you the 20% cashback. Raise now also offers what they call ‘Cashback cards’ which are first-hand cards – those won’t earn you the 20%.
The ‘Listings’ terms isn’t worded very well – it seems to refer to people selling their gift cards on Raise, not to those buying them.
Yeah, I don’t get the exclusion “Listing gift cards excluded.” What exactly does that mean?
It means people listing their gift cards for sale on Raise won’t receive 20% cashback – customer actually buying those discounted gift cards will earn the 20%.
