(Update) There’s A Zillions Gift Card That Gives A $5 Bonus

Incomm recently launched Zillions gift cards, a multi-store gift card that can be redeemed for gift cards at a massive range of retailers including many high value brands like eBay, Home Depot, Airbnb and more.

It turns out that there are two types of Zillions gift cards. There’s that version which can be loaded up to $500, but there’s also a $100 fixed-denomination Zillions card that can be redeemed for gift cards for a smaller list of eligible retailers.

What’s notable about this card is that it comes with a $5 bonus load, so you get $105 for the cost of $100 (or less if there’s some other discount available when buying it). Based on the retailer listing displayed on the packaging of the card, here’s what you can redeem these 5% bonus Zillions gift cards for:

Many of these brands are available for 15% off or more every day of the week from wholesale clubs, but this could still be useful for brands that don’t go on sale quite as frequently (or at such large discounts) such as Chili’s, American Eagle, Xbox, Under Armour, etc. if you buy them when there’s some other deal for Zillions gift cards. By itself the card isn’t very interesting otherwise as it’s only a 4.76% discount.

When buying it, the card comes loaded with $105 of value, rather than it coming with $100 loaded and then $5 being added once you’ve redeemed that value.

If you’re a gift card reseller, when there are deals on Zillions gift cards in the future, you’ll need to do the math as to whether it’s worth buying these new cards to get the $105 of value, or if it’s better to buy the other type of Zillions cards that can be redeemed for far more brands. While the latter doesn’t have the 5% load, the higher resale value of the brands on those cards might still make it better.
