Tips & Ideas
This might be a targeted offer as my wife received an email about it but I didn’t. It’s a pretty good offer as it’s effectively an additional 5% discount on $200 worth of gift cards. While that isn’t amazing in and of itself, you can also earn the following:
- 4% cashback from Slide when buying the gift cards
- 1-2% cashback from Slide when preloading your balance
- 4%+ cashback from a shopping portal
If you earned 4% cashback from a shopping portal and preloaded for the extra 2%, you’d end up saving/earning a total of 14.5% as the cashback is based on the $190 of total spend.
Remember that gift card purchases from Slide can no longer be listed on Raise, so this is only good for personal use or, if reselling, if the person buying knows about this restriction.
