You don’t have to buy $100 denominations for this deal; buying something like two $50 gift cards or four $25 gift cards will also work.

If you do this deal online, be aware that Target will lock the Target gift cards to your account. That means the cards can’t be resold, so only do this deal online if you can make use of the Target gift cards for personal use.

If buying in-store, you can no longer reload the same Target gift card to have a higher balance, so you’ll end up with a bunch of lower denomination Target gift cards if you scale the deal.

Check your Target Circle account for bonus offers that say something like ‘Make 3 purchases of $100+ to earn a $30 reward in Target Circle earnings’. Those kinds of offers get triggered by gift card purchases and so can stack with these kinds of deals if you spend enough per transaction. However, note that the amount spent has to be the value of the transaction after the value of a bonus Target gift card has been deducted due to the way Target calculates things.
