The person receiving the Chinese New Year gift card should be able to “Swych” it for any other gift card including Amazon and Best Buy.
Seeing as the $5 comes as Swych credit that has to be redeemed for gift cards rather than being able to claim it as actual cash, this is effectively a 9.1% discount on $55 worth of gift cards. Note that you won’t be able to spend that $5 on an Amazon gift card though – only the Swychable Chinese New Year gift card would be able to be used for Amazon.
I also want to highlight that I’ve not taken advantage of this promo yet, so there’s a chance that the app doesn’t allow you to Swych these types of cards for Amazon anymore.
