1 Swych point is worth $0.01, so 300 points are worth $3. That means sending a $100 Mardi Gras gift card will earn you 3% back which isn’t amazing, but is better than nothing if you were planning on sending someone a gift card through Swych.
The way this works is that you’ll have to select ‘Send’ at the top of the app, choose one of your contacts, then select ‘Mardi Gras’. You should be able to scroll through the ‘Recommended For Recipient’ section at the top, or just click the search symbol and start typing in ‘Mardi Gras’. The Mardi Gras gift card image above is what you’ll see.
Once you’ve sent the gift card, the recipient will be able to Swych that card for any other one sold in the Swych app.
It’s interesting that one of the terms states a limit of 1 per customer and 2 per household – I’ve not noticed the ‘2 per household’ before. That therefore means it’s safe for 2 people to send these cards to each other to take advantage of the promotion, but suggests that Swych might be cracking down on people having multiple Swych accounts using different phone numbers.
