This is actually a pretty good deal. The $10 bonus card can be Swyched for any brand which includes Amazon and Best Buy. This is therefore effectively a 10% bonus (or 9.1% discount) which is good for some higher value brands.
Note that this isn’t valid when buying a card for yourself – you have to send it to someone else. That person can also send you a gift card too, so couples can send cards to each other and each get a $10 gift card free.
Swych no longer earns 5x when paying with a Chase Ink Plus or Ink Cash card with PayPal. However, the app does accept Amazon Pay, so paying with a Discover It card will earn 5% when using that option.
