I think I have something like $10 in a Stockpile account from some kind of Groupon offer some time ago. It’s a way to purchase fractional shares of stock in more than 1,000 companies including tech companies like Google, Tesla, Facebook, etc.
They usually charge both activation fees and fees when paying by debit/credit card, so both those types of fees are being waived. Note that this offer is live November 26-29, so it hasn’t quite started yet at the time of publishing this post.
Whether this deal is worth doing is, as always, up to you. It’s a rare opportunity to be able to fund investments by credit card with seemingly no fees. Stockpile gift cards are potentially good gifts as well.
