Well, hello there! The terms don’t state that you have to buy a $50 fixed-value Visa or Mastercard gift card, so this should work on variable load gift cards. Either way it’ll be a profitable deal, but even better if it’s valid on variable load cards as you’ll be able to rack up more bonused spend at a grocery store.
There’s a limit of 1 per transaction per day, but it should presumably be easy to get around that by just visiting a different cashier for each transaction. While the requirement to spend $10 or more on groceries is a little inconvenient, you could just split up your grocery shop into separate transactions.
Note that this offer runs from September 2-8, so don’t head there today (Tuesday).
Good news: the one transaction per day limit is not enforced. I have done multiple transactions with the same cashier with no issues.
Bad news: Stater Bros is so expensive compared to local competitors that $10 worth of groceries has an estimated cash value of about $5. In other words, consider this to be a reduced purchase-fee deal.
