Tips & Ideas
These are nice deals, especially the 20% back offer. Staples carries a wide range of gift cards in-store including Visa, Mastercard and Amazon. They also sell a good selection of gift cards online and process the payments themselves, so that’s another way to max out this offer if you don’t have a Staples store near you. I think Staples gift cards themselves are processed by CashStar, so that won’t trigger these Chase Offers – only third party gift cards will.
My wife and I had these three versions of the offer on our business cards, but there might be other versions out there (perhaps $20 back on $100 of spend). What’s especially great is getting the 20% off on an Ink Plus card as that’ll earn 5x in addition to the 20% back.
Staples is selling fee-free Visa gift cards starting tomorrow (Sunday February 23), so this is an easy way to make that deal profitable.
