Staples you beauty! They ran a similar deal on Mastercard gift cards recently which had a limit of 5 per day and I said in that post that I hoped they kept the limit of 5 per day when they next ran a deal on Visa gift cards.
Sure enough, that limit of 5 per day (rather than 1 per day like in the past) is being maintained with this Visa gift card deal. That makes it a lot easier to rack up spend, especially if you have any cards that earn 5x at office supply stores.
Based on data points from that recent Mastercard deal, store managers might still restrict you to 1 per day, but there’s certainly a much better chance of scaling this deal given the specified limit is 5.
I had a heck of a time finding it in the ad. It is on page 12 with the office chairs, lower right. I only care because sometimes the store is unaware of the offer and asks me to show it.
You can just use the ad’s search function and enter “Visa”. Brings it right up.
