$200 Visa gift cards at Staples usually come with a $6.95 activation fee, so that fee will be waived for one week.
There’s a limit of 1 per customer, but you can get round that by visiting multiple stores or visiting the same store every day. Alternatively, you’ll hopefully get a friendly cashier who’s happy to ring up multiple $200 cards for you.
Seeing as this deal starts on June 30, you’ll have one day to take advantage of two Staples Amex Offers that are due to expire that day if you’ve not already maxed them out – $25 or 2,500 Membership Rewards when spending $100 and 10% back on up to $500 of spend. Another good option is using a Chase Ink Plus or Ink Cash card as that’ll earn you 1,000 Ultimate Rewards or $10 for every $200 Visa gift card you purchase.
No matter what credit card you pay with, be sure to link it to your Dosh account. Dosh offers 3% back on in-store Staples purchases with a limit of $5 per day. Gift card purchases are excluded but doesn’t seem to be enforced. If you don’t have a Dosh account, I’d appreciate it if you used my referral link to sign up.
