(EXPIRED) (Update: Lots More Brands) Staples Black Friday Gift Card Deals: 15% Off Xbox, Up To 20% Off Instacart, DoorDash & Hello Fresh

Update 4: Reader Moe’s Tavern has sent me some photos of a bunch of in-store deals that Staples is running this week, so here’s what the full list seems to be:

• $50 Spafinder for $40
• $60 Hello Fresh for $48

• $50 Bed Bath & Beyond for $45
• $25 Bed Bath & Beyond for $22.50
• $25 Xbox for $21.25
• 3 month Xbox Live for $21.23

• $25 DoorDash for $21.25
• $50 Instacart for $42.50

Update 3: It looks like Grubhub might not be an eligible brand after all as a reader has confirmed that a 15% discount wasn’t taken off the $50 denomination. There might have been some confusion with DoorDash gift cards and A Lin has confirmed in the comments that Hello Fresh is 20% off. It therefore looks like the situation is:

• Instacart – 15% off
• DoorDash – 15% off
• Hello Fresh – 20% off

Update 2: Kishore has confirmed in the comments that Instacart and Grubhub are both 15% off. I’m not sure about DoorDash and Hello Fresh, nor if there are any other eligible brands seeing as Grubhub is on sale but wasn’t pictured in the ad. It makes we wonder if Uber Eats is an eligible brand too seeing as these deals seem to be on food delivery gift cards and both Best Buy and GameStop have been offering a 15% discount these last few days.

Update 11/21/21: These deals go live today. If you happen to see any signage in your local Staples, please could you let us know in the comments below what all the deals are.

Tips & Ideas

While it’s good to see that there’s a limit of five per card per day, it’s a shame that they’ve been so vague regarding the non-Xbox deal seeing as it only says you can save ‘up to 20% off select gift cards.’ Hopefully they don’t pull a bait and switch by doing something like giving 20% off Fanatics (which isn’t pictured) and only giving a 10% discount on the brands pictured in the ad.
