This is a nice way to save 10% on any gift card brand sold in the Slide app, but gets even better with all the cashback you can earn. You can earn 1%-2% when preloading your account (depending on the payment method), 4% from Slide on the purchase and 4%-5% from a shopping portal.
I’m not sure what MaxRebates RebatesMe is like as a portal and they’re the ones offering 5%. If going via TopCashback or Dollar Dig for 4%, you’d get the following:
- $50 gift card
- $5 cashback (this promotion)
- $0.50 cashback (if preloading via credit card)
- $2 cashback (from Slide on the purchase)
- $2 cashback (from shopping portal)
- Net cost = $40.50
That means you’re effectively saving 19% on any most brands which is a great deal. n.b. There are a handful of Slide Selects brands (e.g. Amazon, Home Depot, Newegg) that don’t earn the 4% cashback from Slide when buying them.
