I’d always ignored Shutterfly Amex Offers from a gift card perspective because I had in my mind that payment for those was processed by CashStar or some other third party gift card site. I don’t know if I was simply wrong about that or if things have recently changed, but reader EW has pointed out that Shutterfly seems to process payment for their gift cards themselves, so a $25 card should trigger the statement credit from this Amex Offer.
It’d be worth clicking through from a shopping portal in case the purchase tracks – here are the current rates. It’d also be worth making sure your payment card is linked in the Dosh app. Dosh is offering 5% back when paying with a linked card; it says you need to click through from them, but that isn’t always the way things actually work out with them.
