5x rewards on all third party gift cards is a pretty decent offer. They don’t normally award points on gift card purchases, but you ordinarily earn 10x points per dollar spent. 5x makes that 50x points per dollar, so buying a $50 gift card will earn you 2,500 points. Those 2,500 Schnucks Rewards points can be redeemed for $5 off your next shopping trip, so it’s effectively a 10% discount. Assuming it’s valid on all third party gift cards, that’s a great return for high value cards like Best Buy, Amazon, eBay, Apple, Home Depot, etc.
