Update 11/7/20: This deal is now live and there’s a large selection of brands on sale. Since publishing the original post, Sam’s Club has started offering cashback through shopping portals on gift card purchases including TopCashback and Rakuten, so be sure to click through from one of them to make the deals even more rewarding.
There are 112 different deals available, although note that not all of the discounts are as high as 30%, so you’ll need to do the math before buying them. Yep, it’s that time – stores are starting to release their Black Friday ads. Well, this is actually a pre-Black Friday set of deals because it’ll be running November 7-15. I’ll therefore republish this once it goes live.
Sam’s Club tends to run this deal every year and it’s a great way to save 30% on select restaurant gift cards. What’s interesting is that the discounts might be even larger than 30% depending on the brand.
The reason that might be the case is because the offer is listed as $100 gift card multipacks for $70 and $50 gift card multipacks for $35. However, the image shows Outback gift card multipacks with $125 of value and Saltgrass Steakhouse gift card multipacks with $120 of value. If both of those were reduced in price to $70, that would be an amazing deal because it would be a 44% and 41.67% discount respectively.
I suspect Sam’s Club won’t be quite so generous though. My guess is that the Outback cards will retail for $90 and the Saltgrass Steakhouse ones for $85 or thereabouts, but I’d love to be wrong. I guess we’ll have to wait a couple of weeks to find out.
