This is a great deal if you’re targeted as it’ll be profitable for reselling. You can buy a physical gift card in-store or online to lock in the 20% discount; buying an eGift card won’t work because payment for those isn’t processed by Saks.

This deal can get even better if you get it on a personal Amex Platinum card because the $50 twice-annual Saks credit will stack with that. If you’ve not used that benefit for January-June 2021, the best thing to do would be to order a $250 Saks Fifth Avenue gift card now, then a $250 gift card after July 1. This Amex Offer is valid on one or more transactions, so doing it that way means you’d get the $100 statement credit from the Amex Offer along with two $50 Amex Platinum credits for a total of $200 back, or 40% of the gift card value.
