Tips & Ideas
There are a couple of other targeted Saks Amex Offers right now (here and here), so in an ideal world you’d be able to load this offer to the same card that has one or both of those offers.
I got lucky because I was targeted for the $500/$50 Amex Offer on my Charles Schwab Platinum card and got this 3x offer on that same card. That means I can stack them with the $50 twice-annual Saks benefit you get on personal Platinum cards.
eGift cards are excluded, but physical gift cards trigger these Amex Offers. Although there were reports of clawbacks some time ago, I’ve not heard of any data points since and I’ve never had American Express claw back statement credits when buying physical Saks Fifth Avenue gift cards.
The lowest denomination of physical cards sold online is $150, although you can buy $50 cards in-store. Buying in-store won’t work for this particular 3x Membership Rewards offer though because it’s an online-only deal.
